This website is operated by Urban Acres Company Limited, a company based in Tanzania. Urban Acres Company Limited is the data controller for any information submitted through this site.
What the enquiry form collects
The enquiry form on the Contact page collects only the information you type into it: your full name, email address, the service you are interested in, and your message. Company name, phone number, and location are optional fields you may choose to leave blank.
How your enquiry is delivered
When you submit the enquiry form, your message is sent by email using Resend, a third-party transactional email provider, directly to Urban Acres's own inbox. Resend processes the message only to deliver it.
Bot verification
Before an enquiry is sent, this site uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a browser check that helps tell a real visitor apart from an automated bot. Turnstile runs in your browser as part of the form.
Website analytics
This website uses Umami, hosted at analytics.fredygerman.com, to measure page views. Umami receives the page address and referring page for this purpose. Information typed into the enquiry form is not sent to Umami.
Blog reactions
You can like or unlike a published article without an account. To remember your choice, this site uses a first-party browser cookie lasting up to 180 days and stores a keyed, pseudonymous identifier with your reaction. Clearing cookies or using another browser may change how your reactions are counted. Reactions are not verified endorsements.
A short-lived keyed network-address hash helps limit automated reactions. It is kept separately from readership measurement. You can remove an active reaction with the Unlike button; the anonymous record of that change can remain in editorial statistics.
Blog editor accounts
The private blog dashboard stores approved editors' names, email addresses, protected password credentials, sign-in sessions, article revisions, publication plans and editor activity in a database. Editors may use Google sign-in when configured. Uploaded article images are stored separately; only images used in published articles are available to public visitors. Sign-in uses essential session cookies. Dashboard pages do not load website analytics. Password recovery emails use Resend when configured.
What this site does not do
Enquiries are not stored in the website database. Once sent, an enquiry exists only as an email in Urban Acres's inbox and in Resend's delivery records.
Asking for your enquiry to be deleted
If you would like an enquiry you have sent to be deleted, you can ask for that through the enquiry form on the Contact page. Until that form is connected, you can also email info@urbanacres.example.
